Money Making Ideas for Your Website

Money Making Ideas for Your Website

There are other ways that you can make money from your website. Say that sales are slow and your need to increase your revenue. Well look outside the box to some alternatives.

Pay Per Play

Per per play relates to audio advertising that is played on your website. Advertisers pay for each audio advertisement that is played. What is advantageous about this is that they are automatically played as the page is loaded. This is as soon as it is clicked upon.

Widgets

Widgets are embedded chucks of code in a page of HTML. They are primarily used as an ad network by bloggers, website owners, Adsense users, video sites, and social media groups. How this is achieved is by placing a small snip of code which bring sin live content.

This code includes JavaScript, Adobe, Windows Media Player, Silverlight, HTML, and XML; placed into a HTML script which becomes a web widget.

Some of the most popular places you can find widgets are on:

Fickr

MyBlogLog

SnapShot

Twitter

You Tube

Sanp.com

iLike.com

webpoll

search blog

In the case of bringing revenue to your site you would use it as an advertisement. You would add links or images and the advertisers would maintain it themselves.

Pop up Ads

Pop up advertisements we are all familiar with. They are ads that are usually formed by JavaScript but some are by Adobe Flash due to the fact that many systems block the JavaScript.

Pop under Ads

There are also pop under ads. Some may recognize these ads. You view a site and don’t realize until later that something is underneath. The viewers can see the websites content. When the bower is closed the advertisement becomes clear thus allowing no distraction between the website and the advertisement.

Many times the viewer goes to close the page and it will show options such as “are you sure that you want to navigate away from this page” or “wait we have another offer for you”.

Banner Ads

You can sell banner ads. The only drawback is that you need to have a large target audience to get qualified advertisers. You also must take care of the payment process yourself.

Marketplaces

Develop a place where others can sell their products and charge them a fee for doing so. You find this very frequently on blogs.

RSS Feeds

Feeds are operated by webmasters, such as website, news organization, those with blogs, and many more.

They are HTML or links to other media or web pages.

There are many internet website owners taking advantage of RSS Feed ads. You sign up to display. They use the CPM advertising or PPC method.

Paid Surveys

There are many places that will pay you to have a survey on your website. Survey companies usually use a CPM method.

Below is one that I found of interest. There are many more.

They also generate the HTML.

This way it can be added to your existing website your existing website.

With these ideas you can easily increase the revenue of your website. As your website grows and matures you will be making money on both ends. You will be making money with your products and service as well as with these extra features. The best of both worlds!
